ASK Modular
An Ayurvedic collagen brand caught between looking ancient and looking clinical. I built one identity — packaging, SKUs and social — that reads warm, modern and credible at the same time.

WHAT CHANGED
01
Specs on a modular grid, not in dense blocks
02
Helvetica carrying the precision
03
Warm palette breaking the industrial default
The problem
Manufacturing catalogues default to grey, dense and technical — which signals competence and then kills attention. ASK Modular needed a document that still read as precise but didn’t exhaust the person holding it in a trade-show aisle with four competitors’ catalogues under their arm.
What I changed
The grid does the engineering. A modular system organises specifications, product imagery and feature summaries into blocks that scan in seconds, and Helvetica keeps the typographic voice exact without going cold. Then the palette deliberately breaks category convention: coral, violet, olive and amber bring warmth to technical content. That’s the one decision that stops it looking like a competitor’s catalogue.

What I learned. In a polarised category, the gap in the middle is the opportunity. Most brands pick a side because it’s easier to brief — the harder position is the one nobody owns.
What happened
Stronger hierarchy and better product visibility, with smoother trade conversations — the sales team could present with more confidence and clients understood the range at a glance. Reported 17–19% improvement in engagement and sales-readiness.
What happened
The same system extends to a flyer, so a trade-show handout and a full catalogue are unmistakably the same company at two very different lengths.
